Computer Technology Summer Camp 2026

Pathways NC is excited to announce our Computer Technology Summer Camp 2026, an immersive, hands-on experience designed to inspire and educate young minds about the world of technology. This camp is perfect for students interested in learning more about computers, coding, and digital skills in a fun and engaging environment.

What Campers Will Learn

HTML Web Page Design

Morning

Campers will be able to create and design various web pages. They will also apply a variety of HTML formatting tags such as bold, italics, underline, font color, inserting images within a webpage, and MUCH MORE!

Coding for Kids

Afternoon

Campers will be introduced to basic computer programming terms and concepts. They will be able to create a variety of computer programs using the following computer programming languages: Python and Java.

I enjoyed my time at the Creating and Designing Video Games Summer Camp; it was a pleasant experience overall. Interacting with my peers was fun, as everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. While I’ll certainly miss the camp, the opportunity to design my own video game and share my skills with both my peers and the director was awesome.

In this camp I learned about different video game creation programs. I used flowlabs and watched multiple tutorials to learn how to use the program and make my own video game. We also played review games about the process of creating and designing video games. I enjoyed having time to create and test my video game while also watching others make theirs. I also really liked playing the review games and being able to choose which program I wanted to use.

In the Graphic Design and Animation Summer Camp, I watched multiple videos introducing me to the different types, styles, and uses of animation and the process leading up to creating an animation. Then I watched about 5 videos telling me how to use the program Vyond. After all of the videos the course gave me small assignments to get used to the program before assigning me my final project. My final project consisted of the multiple steps I learned previously about creating an animation. It had me write a script and a storyboard and use both of those things to create an animated video. I really enjoyed both the time of working on my own and learning things together with my classmates.
